In 27th December 2016, Innovative System and Instrumentation research team supervised by Dr. Elmi Abu Bakar went for industry visit in Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. located in Batu Kawan, Penang. This program involved of lecturer, postgraduate students and intern. The objective of the visit is to get exposure on real automotive manufacturing process and investigate any problem face by automotive manufacturer that essentially need to be solved especially in automotive control system.

Mdm. Azean who are general affair officer in Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. conduct our visit in factory plant. ISI team was presented with background of company as the visit begin. It was followed by welding and inspection line, painting station, assembly line and final inspection station. Responsible engineer in each station explained the process and answered our questions, respectively. The visit held only not more than three hours but many of important issues or input got from this program in order to improve engine control system research in ISI lab.
