With a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, or other related engineering and science fields, you can also choose to further your studies with a Master’s or a PhD degree at SAE.
These postgraduate degrees require students to undertake a research project under the supervision of one or more lecturers at SAE or from other engineering or non-engineering schools from USM or other institutions, depending on the needs of your research projects. In the case of a postgraduate student having many supervisors, the main supervisor has to be from SAE. We invite you to explore further about these opportunities here.
There are many research projects being undertaken by the academic staffs and researchers at SAE with the aims of benefitting various stakeholders, which includes aerospace and related industries, the nation, as well as the society and various communities within. Examples of our research projects include drones and UAVs, control systems and AI, aerodynamics and CFD, composites and manufacturing technology, as well as renewable energy systems such as wind and hydro turbines. We invite you to explore more about these here.
