- Local Students
Local students can apply into our undergraduate programme through the UPU Online System , which is nationally-centralized system governed by the Ministry of Education (MoE), or Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (KPT). The UPU System processes student applications into all of the undergraduate programs offered by the public universities in Malaysia.
To be considered for entry, students are required to have completed any one of the following qualifications.
1. STPM
2. Matriculation or Foundation programme (Asasi)
3. Diploma
4. Other equivalent qualifications: A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB), AUSMAT

International students can apply into our undergraduate programme through the official USM website, through POHON@USM . The application and selection process are managed directly by the USM Student Admission Office. The School of Aerospace Engineering will be informed by the USM Student Admission Office of any successful candidates through this selection process.
The entry requirements for international students are basically equivalent to the requirements for local students, with an additional requirement on English proficiency for those who come from institutions whose medium of instructions are not in English.
