On last Friday, 30/11/2018, the School was honored to receive a visit from Mr Lee Chon Kiat, one of our top graduates from the 2003-2007 cohort. During the visit, he gave a seminar on "Career Opportunities in Aerospace Engineering" to our students.
He is now working as the Lead Technical Engineer in the Structures Department at CYIENT Singapore to provide technical guidance for repairing Pratt & Whitney aero engine components.
Following graduation, he has worked at Avcen Malaysia for the structural design of the tail for 8 seater aircrafts, at NORDAM nacelles & Thrust Reverser Systems in Singapore as a Stress Engineer to support OEMs in designing aircraft composite nacelle systems for business jet engines, and at GSE-Asia/CYIENT in Singapore since 2013 to support the new generation of gas turbine engines from Pratt & Whitney. He also holds a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore
