On the 12th of November 2022, a selected drone team (Haris, Afif and Fauzan) from School of Aerospace Engineering, USM has participated in the UROCK 2022 University Robot

Competition Kingdom of Champions that was held at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (Unimap). Among the challenges that are introduced, the challenge that the team participated is Drone Challenge. For this type of challenge, the drone needs to carry 200 gram as its payload and fly by using first person view camera then passes a few obstacles designated along the route.

At that day, the team successfully flew and managed to take-off, went through the obstacles, dropped the payload and landed at the designated spot. For this year, the team won 3rd place among other participants. On top of that, the team was also awarded as the Innovation Award Best Presenter. Thanks for making us proud for this achievement. Also kudos to the USM Drone Research Team that support the participants along the journey.
