Dr. Norilmi Amilia Ismail has made it to the spotlight of the media once again. Dr. Norilmi, a lecturer at the Centre for Aerospace Engineering Studies at the University of Science Malaysia, has been selected as the only mentor from Malaysia in the Space4Women program. The project, established by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), aims to provide education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for women around the world. Dr Norilmi Amilia hopes that her contribution to the program will not only benefit the country as a whole, but also encourage more women to pursue careers in the aerospace industry. She has founded Space In Sdn Bhd, which aims to provide data collection services for IoT devices.
