WAU Rocketry USM participated in the STEAM & Career Day at SMK Bukit Gambir, Georgetown, Penang last week on 13 September 2023.

The purpose of the program was to encourage young people to seek careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The team feels honoured to be a part of the initiative to keep encouraging youngsters to pursue their ideal occupations. As the first Malaysian team to represent the nation in the Spaceport America Cup 2022 and year 2023, the team shared their excitement and experiences throughout the journey.
In addition, students didn't miss their chance to observe the HEBAT, a first high-powered rocket built by WAU Rocketry USM in 2022. Students also have the opportunity to take part in their mini-quiz game, where team members challenge them on their knowledge of the space and rocket industries in an effort to further spark their curiosity!
