School of Aerospace Engineering organised their first International Conference of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AeroMech’17) on 21 till 22 November 2017 held at Parkroyal Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. The theme for AeroMech’17 is “Recent Advancements and Innovations in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering”. Such an important and significant theme highlights the role of USM at the forefront of discussions on the latest discoveries in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. It also fulfils the aspiration of the university in upholding its motto ‘We Lead’.

On 12th December, once again School of Aerospace Engineering USM teams, mentored by Dr Ahmad Zulfaa and Dr Norizham and 6 participating students has won Runner - Up and Forth place of Airbus 2017 Universities Innovation Fun Day here at UTEM, melaka.This is the first time our teams participated in Airbus malaysia competition, and it has given valuable experiences to our students to expose themself to the real aerospace theory, technical and teamwork challenge.

“Ini satu kelainan dalam pendedahan kepada aeroangkasa”

Pada 14 November yang lepas, satu program kemuncak Aerofair 2017 yang menyokong kepada peningkatan minat “Science, Technology, Engineering dan Mathematics” di kalangan pelajar dari 4 buah sekolah di Daerah Seberang Perai Selatan telah diadakan di Kampus Kejuruteraan Universiti Sains Malaysia.
