1 Ogos – MRSM Balik Pulau melalui unit AJK Minggu Aktiviti telah mengadakan program “ Aeroangkasa Bersama Anda” kepada semua pelajar tingkatan 1,2 dan 4. Program ini dihadiri oleh wakil dari Pusat Pengajian Kejuruetraan Aeroangkasa iaitu Dr Faizul, Engr Zihad, En Amir, En Azrul serta En. Zaim (Msc) dimana mereka turut mengadakan program ceramah dan pameran.

School of Aerospace Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia invites all participants across the globe to attend the AeroMech’17 in Parkroyal Penang Resort, Penang, Malaysia on 21^st – 22^nd November 2017. AeroMech‘17 is an international podium to present the state of art research & development in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, while exchanging ideas, thoughts and information between the academia and industry. This year, our theme would be on “Recent Advancements and Innovations in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering”.

26 April 2017 was indeed a remarkable day for all the lecturers and students from USM, School of Aerospace Engineering. It is the day where we were proud enough to invite Datuk Dr Mazlan Othman, currently the Professor Emeritus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to our school and talk about the Space Agenda of the United Nations (UN).

Datuk Dr. Mazlan Othman is the former director of United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). She is Malaysia’s first astrophysicist and the first woman to be awarded a PhD in physics from University of Otago, New Zealand. She was the founding Director General of ANGKASA, the Malaysian National Space Agency where her work led to the launch of first Malaysian astronaut, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor. Furthermore, she is a Senior Fellow of Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
