15 – 18 November 2016 – The 23rd session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) is held in Sofitel Hotel, Pasay, Manila, Philippines on 15 to 18 November 2016. The forum was established in 1993 to enhance space activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
Space agencies, governmental bodies, international organizations, private companies, universities, and research institutes from over 40 countries and regions take part in APRSAF, the largest space-related conference in the Asia-Pacific region.
APRSAF currently organizes four working groups,
- Space Applications
- Space Technology
- Space Environment Utilization
- Space Education
12 – 13 November 2016 – In conjunction with the 23rd Asia Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-23), the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) along with the National SPACE Development Program (NSDP) of the Philippines have organized the 3rd Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW 2016).
The program is a two-day regional workshop for university students and young professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. It is held at the University of the Philippines, Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines, one of the seven constituent campuses of the nation’s premier university system on the 12 - 13 November 2016.
BM:Makmal Sistem Angkasa, Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Aeroangkasa akan menganjurkan "Space Talk - Challenge & Journey to a new space nation" yang akan disampaikan oleh En Izmir Yamin dan En David Ho. En Izmir Yamin, CEO Independence X Aerospace yang merupakan salah satu pasukan yang disenarai sebagai finalis di pertandingan Google Lunar XPrize ( http://lunar.xprize.org/ ). En David Ho pula merupakan seorang peguam yang dilantik sebagai salah seorang panel di dalam Space Generation Advisory Council di bawah United Nation Office for Outer Space Affairs.
