Space System

Introduction 

The USM Space Systems Lab (USSL) is a new group under the School of Aerospace, Universiti Sains Malaysia. The objectives of USSL to develop expertise in space system hardware and software, providing testing and ground facilities for space application and an airborne vehicle. In the long term, we are aiming to produce our own products related to the research.  The USSL offers interesting challenges to students to works in multidisciplinary projects and to gain experience working with teams. 

Research areas

The USSL encompasses research in near space, small satellite system, dynamics and control, space environment and satellite communication.
